Hotel Operations and Management

Our hotel management team manages a total of 39 hotels, of which two are located in Hong Kong, one in Macau and 36 in Mainland China. Seven hotels are owned or lease-owned by the Group (two in each of Hong Kong and Shenzhen, and one in each of Guangzhou, Zhuhai and Zhengzhou), and among which five are star-rated hotels and two are budget hotels. Of these seven hotels, six are managed by our hotel management team with the exception of the one located in Guangzhou, namely Sheraton Guangzhou Hotel, is managed by Sheraton Overseas Management Corporation. Our Group's hotels include:

Wharney Guangdong Hotel (Hong Kong)

The Wharney Guangdong Hotel (Hong Kong) is situated in a premier location in the Wanchai district, within walking distance from Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre, close to the commercial and shopping hub in Causeway Bay and with convenient transportation. It is the first hotel honoured with ISO 9002 quality assurance certificate in Hong Kong, and has successfully attained the ISO 9001 accreditation in January 2003. It has a total of about 360 guest rooms and suites.

Guangdong Hotel (Hong Kong)

The Guangdong Hotel (Hong Kong) is situated in Tsimshatsui, close to main tourist attractions and shopping centres in the Kowloon peninsula, with convenient transportation and on excellent location. It has a total of about 250 guest rooms and suites.

Guangdong Hotel (Shen Zhen)

The Guangdong Hotel (Shen Zhen) is situated in the most prosperous business centre of Luohu district, close to Dongmen walking street with convenient transportation. It has a total of about 290 guest rooms and suites.

Guangdong Hotel (Zhu Hai)

The Guangdong Hotel (Zhu Hai) is located at the junctions of Yue Hai Road East and Lian Hua Lu of Zhuhai city with convenient transportation linkage and excellent location for overseeing the beautiful land-scape of the city. It has a total of about 470 guest rooms and suites.

To meet the needs of different types of travellers, as well as to accommodate the strong demand from a growing number of budget conscious travellers in Mainland China, the Group launches a number of limited service hotels under the brand name of "粤海之星酒店" providing basic but quality bed-and-breakfast type service. At present, two of such hotels are operating in Shenzhen and Zhengzhou. Each of such hotels has a total of about 200 guest rooms.
